Breast cancer is on the rise and women along with some men are developing cancer, ever when there is no family history of the illness. Cancer is attacking people at younger ages as well, that is why it is so important to get screened and check your breast monthly, for early detection. Breast cancer, if detected early can be cured, however, if a person is diagnosed in later stages. like 3 or 4, their chances for survival is low. You may qualify for a free mammogram if you are:
- age 40 or over and never had a baseline mammogram
- uninsured, low-income
- have had a recent gynecological exam
